Runic Tattoo by chaosimagination Runic Tattoo by chaosimagination
This is my first tattoo, done by Anita at Golden Needle Tattoo. It is a viking prayer, here is the translation.

Hail Mighty Asa-Thor!
I go forth today to do my duty.
I go forth today to drink deep of life in Midgarth.
Walk beside me, great friend of men.
Lend me your strength that I may defeat all jotuns in my path,
Be they giants of the world, of the mind or of the heart.
Help me to do right by my Kin, as you do.
Hail Thor!

I got the prayer from a man who runs a very informative website on Asatru called Munson's Mead Hall.

The prayer also follows very similarly from old ruins found in the scandenavian areas and has been documented in a few books on Norse runes that I have.

Anita at Golden Needle Tattoo did the work.
